Windows 10 2019 LTSC upgrade to 2021 How?
Hello.
I have a couple of new PC whit Windows x 2019 LTSC. I desire to upgrade them to Windows ten 2021 LTSC.

How practise I practise this and then I can keep all my settings and files, apps?
Thes PC will accept HMI and will be in service long rime so want to deliver them whit the latest software.

Hi Andreas, I just successfully performed in identify upgrade from LTSC 2019 to 2021, all personal data have been kept.
Earlier the alive upgrade, I've restored my PC into virtual machine and made a test in that location :)
OK, @TomasAntal-0387 more how did you run this update? Was it via Windows Update normal or how? I have LTSC 2019 and would similar to update to 2021, but via Windows Update until the month of 12/2021 simply Windows x 1809 update came!
To upgrade form one version of LTSC to some other is very simple.
I log into the figurer as an admin.
I uninstall the anti-virus as this can stop the upgrade from working.
I re-create the Windows LTSC files to a folder on the desktop.
I run the setup.exe, and choose to keep all files and folders.
The upgrade runs, and it takes about an hour.
After its finished, I reinstall the anti-virus.
which windows ltsc files? you mean the ones from the ISO installation? could yous share the data or link please?

The files from the ISO. You can re-create them into a binder on the PC y'all want to upgrade, or mount the ISO ,and use the setup.exe to run the in-place upgrade.
I do not have a link for you sadly.
My Windows OS files are supplied by my employer.

Howdy, I wanted to inquire you what exact version of windows 10 LTSC y'all have (for example 1809 build 17763.2886) and what version of ISO was used to update. Thank you very much for your time and aid. Greetings.

We have used 1607, and 1809, however any version of LTSC can move up to a more current version with an in-place upgrade. The build number doesn't affair, and will not be a factor in your upgrades. Your KMS central if you are using one should also be skillful for the new version of LTSC. Again the version of the ISO doesn't affair. Nosotros pull the files from the ISO, and run the setup.exe from a folder on the desktop of the PC existence upgraded. The only affair I recommend is you uninstall your AV before you practice the upgrade, and re-install it after you are done.

Currently we are upgrading to 21H2 LTSC.

The ISO used to update is 19044.1288.211006-0501.21h2_release_svc_refresh_CLIENT_LTSC_EVAL_x64FRE_es-es

LTSC cannot be upgraded via WSUS or any other Windows Update method.
You must run an in-place upgrade to motion from ane version of LTSC to another.
